I create each link from a roll of copper wire one-by-one to provide a truly one of a kind piece. The Moss Agate used here varies in shade from light olive to a dark evergreen that blends beautifully with the copper wire. By using real stone in this piece, it has a substantial feel in your hand.
This rosary hangs a full 26.5” long including 3” crucifix.
I started making rosaries 5 or six years ago, when I wanted to come up with something special for my father that he would be able to use and appreciate. He was so touched my it, I’ve made dozens more, and started my explorations into the history or prayer beads in religions across the globe. I love identifying links between religions & cultures, the past and the present.
