Sculpture- Day 174 of my This or That projects. The sticks won today’s poll.
The twig in this sculpture-leaf are all one piece. I initially though it was black ash, but upon further inspection, I believe it to be poplar. I assisted the curves in the branches into intersecting and then wove the larger sections with orange, red, and wine reed that I dyed this summer.
Overall, it measures 32”, with 23” of weaving.
